Rik Roman

Rik is a highly skilled and experienced leader and welder with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He was born and raised in Windber, PA where he developed a passion for fast cars, metal fabrication, and welding as a teenager. He worked in a metal fabrication and the coal mining industry, honing his skills and learning craftsman welding techniques.
Rik’s passion to connect to teams led him onto supervisory roles. He led teams responsible for welding large structural components for a variety of projects, including bridges, buildings, and industrial facilities. He quickly rose through the ranks and was recognized as a senior leader for his ability to teach, focus on attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
In 2016, Rik joined Mission Critical Solutions. He quickly built a reputation for delivering quality work and exceptional customer service, and MCS has grown in welding, fabrication, and machining over the years under his watch. As the Director, Rik guides over 50 employees to complex project completion, on time and error free.
He has implemented a Lean Manufacturing program that has resulted in a 25% increase in efficiency and a 10% reduction in lead times.
Rik enjoys spending time with his family, working on motorcycles and race cars, and volunteering to help in his community.
