Meet The Team: Adam Piper

Position: Fabrication
Experience: 6 months

This month, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on our talented fabricator, Adam Piper. With a quiet demeanor and a strong work ethic, Adam is one of the many unsung heroes on our team—always focused and never one to complain. But there’s much more to him than meets the eye. Outside of his impressive craftsmanship, Adam has plenty of hobbies and life experience that might just surprise you. His positive attitude and eagerness to learn are truly infectious, making him the kind of colleague everyone loves to root for. Join us as we delve deeper into Adam’s world, both in and out of the shop!

Unlike most blue-collar manufacturing workers, Adam did not have an extensive background in the trades; outside of helping his friends with projects and making birdhouses with his grandfather; he wasn’t working in manufacturing right out of high-school like most of his peers. Instead, Adam held mostly retail positions and was persuaded by his buddy Tyler Bertram (MCS Welder) to get into the trades.

Adam thanks Tyler for getting his foot in the door. “I wasn’t very confident in my ability to weld but Tyler told me to apply because there’s other routes besides welding”

In April, Adam was hired in our fabrication department. Although he was unsure what exactly he’d be doing, he learned quickly and it didn’t take long to become a reliable asset to the fabrication department.

“Trust me, my first few months I made mistakes but I appreciate my peers and lead for being patient with me and helping me fix those mistakes. I’m still learning but they make it easier.” said Piper.

Outside of work, Adam has several different hobbies. Some of those hobbies, you could probably guess;  hunting, fishing, and video games. There is one hobby that you don’t hear often, bowling. Adam said that when he was around three years old, his mom got him into bowling and it’s something that he’s loved ever since. If you know anything about bowling, 300 is a perfect score, strike on every frame. Adams’ best score is 283, which is nine consecutive strikes. He said that he is attracted to all of these hobbies because they provide an adrenaline rush that’s hard to replicate.

Adam shares a deep and meaningful connection with his family, which includes his mom, dad, brother, and two grandmothers. He has always recognized the sacrifices they made to provide for him and this awareness drives his own dedication to success. Adam is motivated by a desire to return the favor, aiming to support them in any way he can in the future.

As we wrap up our spotlight on Adam Piper, we want to express just how grateful we are to have him as part of our team. His quiet determination and relentless work ethic make a significant impact every day, and it’s truly refreshing to work alongside someone who complains less and accomplishes more. We look forward to watching Adam continue to grow in his manufacturing journey, and we can’t wait to see all the things he will achieve in the future.
